Description
The JPIC is my development board. It’s deigned to be usable and easy for anyone to get into programming it. It’s based on the dsPIC33FJ128GP802 and runs at 40MIPS with a 10ppm crystal. It has audio and and out with an emphasis on digital signal processing. Upto 16bits at 100ks/s out and 12bits at 1Ms/s input. It has a familiar Arduino form factor. Has a bootloader so you don’t need an external programmer. Sold with or without a screen depending on your needs. I program for it so you can take advantage my excellent support for it. I have created and bundled software with it that should be intuitive and require as few mouse clicks as possible to get up and running. See this video to see just how easy and fast getting started is…
For more information see http://jontio.zapto.org/jpic . You will find getting started videos, examples and other bits and pieces to help you get started.
This is the PCB schematic.
N.B: Currently I’ve only created a 64bit Windows package of the programming environment. USB cable and acrylic backing plate not included (contact me if you are interested in seeing these as a option).
